Bathing Hunks

Boys are just so funny. Everything lately has been about "tooting" which I mean, I would love nothing more for them to stop doing but seriously, I have all boys. They also like to play that they are always in Hot Lava. They are always laughing and playing funny games. Brandon consistantly hops on one foot ever since the doctor asked him if was able to at his three year check up and Tyler is always trying to organize some game that has ever changing rules by the second. Brandon can never "follow the rules" but then I don't think that I could either. Brandon is always asking the why questions that come with being three. "Why I am a kid mom?" Why Tyler is at school?" "Why Dad is at work?" "Why Ethan can't walk and talk?" It never really ends. It's great mostly.

Ethan has been teething like crazy lately so some days last week and this weekend I thought I was going to run and hide because the whining can really get to me. Today, however, has been so nice that I even have time to update the old blog! He has finally slipped back into happy baby mode. He is actually interested in sitting on the floor, playing and crawling. He sure looks cute now when he smiles you can kind of see the top two that he has cut and the next two that are almost through. NIGHTMMARE. But I think we might be past it for a time thank goodness. He is also doing some really cute clapping and playing patty cake which is very exciting you know for a 7 month old critter.

Well, I am excited for some warm weather to come our way soon. I am about done with all the hail, wind and snow!!!

Cousin Boys

We are in Portland for the week and today we took the three boy cousins all born between August and November 2007 to Kiddie Kandids for pictures. It was pretty cute. We did this 5 years ago with Tyler, Kyle and Jacob and the new picture looks almost identical. This is Ethan (7 months) our son, Heath (4 months) Andy and Mari's son, and Isaiah (5 months) Casey and Angela's son. They are so cute.

Springtime

I haven't really wanted to update the blog because I don't have a whole lot that is exciting to report! The weather is getting warmer and I am excited for the daylight savings. I have always enjoyed being able to stay outside longer when it stays light. The boys are doing well, funny as ever. Especially Brandon. He and Tyler (one team) are playing hide and seek right now with Brian and Ethan (they are on the other team together). I have to say that I am grateful for the fact that none of us have gotten sick this winter like almost all other people that I know. Ethan has gotten two teeth and he is really smilely so it's cute to see them almost all the way in now. He is a crazy crawling little spider monkey. He scales walls, furniture, everything. He falls over a lot too wich is sad. He has a few brusies from it. Brandon tries to protect him from falling....last night Ethan was standing at the coffee table and took the 3rd tumble for the night and so Brandon stood him back up and held onto his hand. After that got boring for him (20 seconds later) he decided that he would just put a DVD case on his hand to protect him and weigh his hand down so that he wouldn't fall again. Let's just say, it wasn't really fool proof.
