Happy Valentine's Day!

Fighting a cold this morning, hoping it's not strep mostly because Brian made reservations tonight for a nice dinner and I don't want to cancel!  We have a babysitter set up so it will be great.

Our boys are getting big.  It's always fun to report funny things that happen and now I can't really remember much except this one.  Ethan was telling me about something that he ate that was "pois-mon".  Brandon and I were sitting there and Brandon looked at me with big eyes and smiled like "what??? did he just say poismon for poison?"  I just lowered my eye brows at him so he wouldn't make fun of Ethan and continued the conversation.  Ethan went on and on about the poismon that he had eaten and Brandon had to leave the room he was laughing so hard.  I had to starin to keep a straight face myself.  It was really cute but if he knew we were laughing at him he would not be happy.

I am 22 weeks now, 5 1/2 months and I can feel the little man moving inside a lot now.  The boys are getting exctied for the "new baby" is how they refer to him right now.  Things are going well!  Boys are in basketball and loving it, next will be baseball and then in the fall Tyler will start football (not sure I am ready for that) and I am hoping to get Brandon in either soccer or gymnastics.  The kids is nuts and has serious skill at whatever he does.  He had an amazing game this last saturday if that is possible at age 6. Tyler is getting better each game as well.  It's so great to watch our kids develop and we are gratful for our health and blessings!

Wish I had some cute pics to post...we decorated Valentine cookies last night at Grandma's and didn't even get a picture of that - so lame lately. The truth is, Ethan is always climbing on me so it makes picture taking one more task, one more thing in my arms/hands.  Does it sound like I need another child???

Sorry you're not feeling good. We have had a pretty sick household lately. Colds and Flu. I've missed a lot of work, but what can you do? In fact the reason I'm commenting on your blog right now is because I'm home from work with some sort of flu bug. The first year I get the flu shot! Anyways enjoyed your post.

It's fun to see the kids doing sports and trying different things. Savanna goes to gymnastics once a week and I look forward to it every week because I love to watch her.

Hope you got to go on your V-day date!

And yes, if your baby is "not cute" as you said, we can trade. I bet yours will be just as cute but he won't be as ornery as mine. He's about as grumpy as they come.

The Basketball games are the highlight of the week! So funny to watch. I hope you post a video of one. Those "3 pointers" of Brandons are most amazing, and the dribbler/passer Tyler is awesome!
